Role
As Approval and Authorization Manager you will take ownership of the approvals and certifications of our solutions for our signalling markets. You will be the owner of and develop our approval processes for each market within Region North. You will also be responsible to build the team, competencies and relations regarding national requirements for our markets. Your work will be done in close connection with national authorities and Bombardier Transportation's customers, ensuring the high quality and successful certifications of our products and solutions.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure permanent approvals for Bombardier Transportation products and solutions.
Develop generic approval processes to support our local markets.
Build and manage the team, ensuring proper head count and competence to support all our markets, products and projects
Coordinate approval activities between projects, markets and sites
Be able to identify and implement flexible solutions to complex problems with high integrity and safety awareness.
Build solid customer relationships to ensure quality delivery within agreed standards.
Support Projects, Safety Engineers and Bid teams.

Oualifications

Master's or higher degree in engineering.
Relevant previous work experience (several years of experience from Safety and approval management of railway systems would be desirable).
Knowledge of rails industry, safety and quality standards;
Proven leadership skills (preferably in a multinational environment, working with global teams).
Advanced English language skills are mandatory (knowledge of Swedish language would be a plus).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strategic and analytical, able to tailor and insure implementation of approval processes for our products and solutions.
Availability for travel to a medium degree.
