The role
As an Architect at Kindred you will, together with the other architects, have an overall responsibility for our gambling and betting platform. You will split your time between coordinating the evolution of the platform and supporting an experience. In this role you focus on the bigger picture rather than detailed deliveries, keeping an eye on future needs and opportunities.
What you will do
Working across experiences in close collaboration with development teams, experience owners, product owners, business analysts and domain architects
Mapping business requirements to technical requirements and constraints, and conduct architectural GAP analysis
Assisting stakeholders in understanding technical implications and consequences of strategical choices
Ensuring scalability, performance and security according to defined strategies and processes
Complying and take part in defining, developing and governing existing and required processes
Advising and guiding in technology choices and their application
Providing and maintaining the architectural frameworks mapped to business processes
How will success be measured in this role
Through having meaningful conversations with your line lead
Maintaining all relevant regulatory training and other compliance activities in order to support Kindred's sustainable and responsible growth

Your experience
Passionate about new technologies and keeps up-to-date on new trends and possibilities
You have at least 10 years of developer experience with a majority on the java stack
You have worked heavily with micro services architecture
Used to taking responsibility and setting the architectural roadmap
Is focused on the big picture and empowers others to make detailed decisions
Enjoys sharing knowledge and best practices
Always considers the longevity of the platform
Ability to gain the holistic view, be a good listener and to be able to reach consensus with a larger group
