Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania's “driving the shift” strategy. At Connected Systems, we develop and operate Scanias IoT solutions. It spans from in-vehicle, via Telecom to the Scania back-end platform.
Connectivity in general is all about Data. Data in large volumes in a flexible and usable way is a key success factor for organisations that want to survive the digital shift. Scania today has over 600.000 (and counting) vehicles and other products connected online. We are looking for a new team member to help us drive the development of new connectivity solutions. What do we offer?
We offer you the possibility to be a part of a team that owns Scanias data streaming and master data storage solutions. The solution is continuously collecting data from vehicles around the globe, 24/7, and providing the data to the rest of the organisation through our interfaces. Your main tasks will be to work with layout, design, and visualization. You will participate in creating patterns and best practices for our development team to ensure the decoupling, cohesion, and flexibility of our data streaming solution. Ensuring that it has the right robustness, performance, and scalability to support Scania’s transformation to be truly data-driven.

Who you are
To succeed in this role, you have at least five years of experience in cloud development. You are interested in working with a mix of hands-on SW development in an agile environment.
We are looking for a creative and analytic team member who enjoys having variation in work. You have the ability to work with fuzzy assignments that require visionary thinking and an exploratory approach. You have the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks for the team to implement.
Fluency in English both written and oral is required.
