Are you passionate about building new solutions on Azure Cloud for a modern Analytics ecosystem and about working closely with BI architecture?
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Build and grow the AML (Anti Money Laundering) Analytical capabilities within the Group Business Intelligence Architect Guild
- Design solutions for Data Lake enablement on Azure Cloud spanning areas such as Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Security, Cloud PaaS stack, AnalyticalOps, DevOps and DataOps
- Work closely with various stakeholders such as Business customers, Architects, Product Owner, Data scientists, Data engineers, DevOps engineers
- Help define architecture roadmap for an enterprise cloud journey unifying Datawarehouse, onpremise data lake and Business Intelligence integrations across the bank
- Help build, maintain and support data integrations and applications that underpin our operational and analytical needs. The role will help build and evolve standards and patterns towards a data centric bank
- Be part of Swedbank’s mission to is increase its analytical capabilities and diversify its data landscape. We are finding new ways of capitalizing on data, with the goal of better knowing and hence better serving our customers. In doing this, new platforms and technologies for discovery, advanced analytics and big data and security management will be explored and introduced. This will be done in close cooperation with the business and IT
- Define Architecture governance for the analytical platform, processes, and ways of working. This is an important part of the future evolution and continuous success of the AML Analytics initiative
- Work with optimizing Operational management of the platforms to secure a stable and highly available service with no data loss
- Work within SAFe as an agile framework. In SAFe terminology, this role can be seen as a System Architect focusing on the cloud based analytics platform.
- You will work in close cooperation with the AML Value Stream and Data Lake Domain Architect
What is needed in this role:
- Relevant academic degree
- Strong experience as an Architect setting up end to end IT solutions which includes building, maintaining and/or migrating Data Lake and analytics solutions
- Experience working on cloud platforms building enterprise data lake solutions (preferably Azure)
- Experience working with Core Azure PaaS services spread across storage and compute
- Experience and understanding of Big data solutions and related technical stack, exposure to DataWarehouse and related concepts
- Thorough understanding of and practical experience in DevOps ways of working and Infrastructure as code. It is beneficial if this includes the neighbouring fields of AnalyticsOps/CICD4ML and DataOps.
- Experience with and deep knowledge of the following technologies is particularly valuable: Databrics, Azure DevOps, Azure Datafactory, any large ETL tool (we use AbInitio), Azure Machine Learning, Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), Kafka or Azure Event Hub
- Solid understanding of information architecture, data governance and BI service development methodology
- General understanding of and willingness to learn the conditions of working in the heavily regulated financial industry.
- Experience in providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring.
- Have a genuine interest to learn new skills and help others to succeed
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in written and oral English
- As an architect you are business oriented and understand that architecture is a means to an end and not a goal in itself. You are eager to learn how the business works and how new technology in the BI area can be used to accelerate business and customer value
