Architect Senior Specialist

We are seeking a new member to join our Development Operations team in support of mission critical infrastructure and related projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in influencing design and enhancements to new and existing products or platforms alike. Our team supports a global organization within different regions, which share a common goal with a strong focus on development engagement.

The opportunity to join the Development Operations team, as a Senior Architect you will have the opportunity to both learn from other experts in the teams as well as share your knowledge with others. The product you will work with is a vast and complex, which will offer technical challenges, and the opportunity to choose tasks based on your interest and expertise.
As a Senior Architect you will be integrally involved in meeting our challenge to deliver and deploy robust high quality software, with ever increasing performance requirements and simultaneously contribute to improve agility and time to market in a changing business and regulatory environment.
Your role and responsibilities:
Designs and develop IT architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.
Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications.
Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings, either as the opportunity arises or as part of a project team working on new product development.
Confirms the compatibility of products/services to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.
Maintains alignment with clients' overall enterprise architecture direction and the organization's standards for architecture consulting.
Researches, designs and develops product hardware and software interfaces to form a compatible system; allows for networking capabilities between products.
Designs and defines system requirements for complex systems and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems.
Determines system architecture specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
We're looking for someone with knowledge of:
Development Principles and Systems or Solution Design
Automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform
Source Control and deployments via GitLab, BitBucket, Nexus, CI/CD
Linux (Centos and Redhat 7 and 8)
Containerization via K8S, Docker and relevant virtualization technologies
Programing via Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, etc.
Intel Based Server technologies
Capacity planning and sizing
Security principles and best practices
It would be great if you have:
Cloud technologies associated with AWS / GCP / Azure
Monitoring and Logging via Splunk, OMI, DataDog, SysDig way
Low Latency Networking Solutions and Concepts, SolarFlare and Onload
