Architecture Leader – Cloud Native Architecture & DevSecOps

As an Architecture Leader for Cloud Native Architecture & DevSecOps,  you will lead the technical software development framework from an architecture perspective, forming a strong community of  Architects and Software Engineers across the Inter IKEA value chain. Together you will set the strategic direction for our Software Development and the underlying platforms, stressing a decoupled and componentized application architecture that embraces the old and the new. 

This robust cloud native architecture is a crucial element of our target technology landscape, enabling our business movements at speed and scale. As a leader of the network, you will bring the architects of the various product areas together, forming strategic scrums that tackle dilemmas, define the future roadmaps, and shape our ways of working. You will lead the architecture framework for modern, scalable, and high-performing technical solutions, drive the implementation in the system development life cycle, providing technical recommendations for our many digital development teams. 

More specifically, in this role you will be accountable for: 
Lead the architecture framework for Cloud native Software Development, enabling a common software development platform, that supports a micro service architecture in a hybrid cloud model. 

Drive the software development lifecycle roadmap 
Ensure security aspect of common application development services in order to protect and secure IKEAs brand 
Responsible for a Network of Architects & Software Engineers across Inter IKEA, bringing them together in a strong community, that is the backbone of a consistent and robust Software Development Framework across all core businesses. 
Lead the work to anchor our direction and principles, resolving dilemmas by forming cross functional work groups that guide the way forward. 
Support the Enterprise Architects in their work to frame all initiatives with a robust application architecture direction and fit. 

Responsible, as a member of the Architecture leadership, to guide bigger, cross functional, cross technology movements (e.g. through EA Assessments) 
Responsible for up-to-date architecture artefacts and data architecture patterns. Partnering with product & project teams to design, create and re-use of the same. 
Shared Responsibility for the Inter IKEA Architecture Roadmap. 
In this role you will report to our Architecture Manager for IKEA of Sweden, Range and work closely with the Architecture Manager at Inter IKEA Group to lead towards uniformity and commonality, contributing to the Inter IKEA architecture framework and delivering on the needs of IKEA.
