About you 

We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about developing people and business in an omnichannel environment. You bring experience from working in retail global organisations or recent IKEA experience in retail or value chain. Ideally, you have  5 or more years of experience from a similar (CTO/Enterprise Architecture) role with clear technical authority. You also bring a good understanding of data or enterprise architecture frameworks and establishing ways of working, enabling speed and flexibility of data and information landscapes, to support a scaled agile and/or DevOps setup. 

We believe that you are  someone who can build trustful relationships with stakeholders, business partners and franchisees and facilitates collaboration across Inter IKEA Group, holding things together even when they get complex or unclear.  You enjoy working in a high paced environment and you have a proven ability to lead, coach, challenge and support people to grow. 

You are structured and you always follow through. You take responsibility, support others and deliver your work with a sense of urgency. 

You have a deep interest in organizational technological architecture design and a proven ability to lead, apply and describe architecture on a complex enterprise level. Your curious and positive nature helps you to actively acquire new knowledge and skills, using them to champion new methods and processes to improve how things are done and delivered. We call this the Retail Package and it covers key capabilities for retail operations.

About the role  

As Architecture Manager you will be managing the strategic Retail Package technology landscape architecture, to enable speed and flexibility for empowered product teams 

Together with the management team you will lead Retail Operation Solutions & Support organisation on a digital transformation journey aiming to provide an omnichannel retail package. This includes introducing a product oriented delivery setup, scaling the organisation through a significant increase of both skilled co-workers, as well as new and existing suppliers. 

One of your primary responsibilities is to lead, coach and develop a team of architects, security engineers and data management specialists by ensuring the team understands the overall direction, vision, delivery process and responsibilities 

You are responsible for setting and driving implementation of technical standards for the Retail Package technology landscape and to develop and track the technology landscape roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders to drive the technology strategy and minimize the technical debt. In this you will work closely with Product and Platform management to deliver impact with optimal resources.

You will also work closely together with peers across the totality of Core Business Franchise and across IKEA to strengthen and contribute to a strong and relevant IKEA franchise offer 
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Malmö, Sweden.  There may be some international travel required for this role. You will report to the ROSS Manager.
