We have an exciting opportunity for an Archivist to join our Facilities Management department in Gothenburg to strengthen the Facilities Management Archives Services Sweden (FMASS).
As a vital part of AstraZeneca, FMASS is a process-based function that protects and preserves essential business records and provides related archiving and records management services aligned to support the AstraZeneca mission to make the most meaningful difference to patient health through great medicines.
What you'll do
Your main responsibility will be to manage various operational aspects of FMASS processes; including paper archiving, related customer service processes and training across all functions of AstraZeneca Sweden. You will work closely with customers to evaluate and appraise records for archiving, and manage those throughout their lifecycle until their final disposition (permanent preservation or destruction). You will also enable appropriate access to records in FMASS custody. In doing so, you will use a global system customized by AstraZeneca and follow documented standards, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, business requirements.
We will rely on you to:

Work closely with customers, stakeholders and partners to ensure that practices and services support the AZ Information and Records Management Global Standards

Monitor and report on metrics to ensure the efficient operation of the archive and drive continuous process improvement
*
Assists in the development and assimilation of the Global Retention and Disposal (GRAD) for all types of records
*
Participates as appropriate in relevant industry associations and conferences in Europe and US
Essential for the role
We believe that you have experience in business process analysis and continuous improvement as well as a problem solving mindset and the ability of analytical thinking. Your interpersonal skills are of great importance in this role. Your service delivery attitude and a phenomenal ability to build actively relationships and improve cross-functional and cross cultural working are essential. You love interactions and are truly passionate to work together with your team members towards a common goal.
You also have:

University education or equivalent in relevant area, e.g. Archive and Information Science (Arkiv- och Informationsvetenskap) or similar
*
At least 3 years experience of archiving in a regulated environment
*
Experience of working with and supervising suppliers
*
Excellent Swedish and English, both spoken and in writing
Experience in a pharmaceutical environment is a great plus.
