Ardendo, a division of Vizrt, is a software company focusing on development of systems for digital media management and IT-based broadcasting.Our international customer base includes several well known broadcasting companies, including SVT, CNN and the EBU.Our customers use Ardendo software in mission critical production operations such as media management, ingest, transcoding, editing and archiving.The last years have been very rewarding for Ardendo.Good publicity at large exhibitions, satisfied reference customers, and strong partnerships, have given us a growing number of customers and business opportunities all over the world.With a current staff of 70, Ardendo is expanding to meet the requirements imposed by an increasing international customer base.In addition, we are also accelerating product development to sustain our technological leadership.We are constantly searching for highly motivated persons with a master's degree in computer science, and an interest in technically demanding work.The majority of our systems are delivered to customers outside Sweden, which makes travelling and communicating in English an integral part of the corporate culture.Travel will be required.We are now looking for an experienced J2EE developer!As a J2EE developer based in Stockholm, you will be part of a team with responsibility of implementing customer specific business workflows using a Java-based workflow engine, jBPM. Skills required: * Expertise in J2EE, with focus on EJB - especially Stateless Session Beans and Message Driven Beans.* Expertise in JBoss architecture, and Hibernate.* General understanding of workflow management concepts.* Previous experience of Design Patterns, especially around J2EE To be eligible you should have the following qualifications: * Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent * Relevant experience of professional application development.* Self motivated and responsive to customer requirements * Comfortable in technically complex environments * Skilled at transforming visions into working solutions * Good communication skills.Mastering the English language, both in speech and writing Merited qualifications: * Previous experience of jBPM, or other workflow management systems.* Familiarity and understanding of automated unit testing technologies, such as JUnit.* Interest in audio and video technology Documented professional experience of application development in Java/J2EE is required.Ardendo always practices probationary employment.Interested?Please include your CV, scanned copies of your degree and marks, and the abstract from your thesis.NOTE!Use "Workflow Developer" as subject in your mail.We look forward to hearing from you!
