Ardendo, a division of Vizrt, is a company focusing on creating software for the broadcast industry.Our product range includes tools for simplifying the work at TV stations, which means digitizing material, managing the media, video editing, transcoding between different media formats and archiving.Broadcasters all around the world use our products behind the scenes, including some well-known customers such as SVT, CNN, and BBC.Ardendo is a dynamic company, with an open-minded and friendly atmosphere.The low average age of the employees in combination with strong technical competence, leads to an open, non-hierarchical environment.Each employee has a large impact on the direction of their own personal development, depending on interest and skills.Ardendo is now expanding our current staff of 70 to meet the load from the constantly increasing number of customers.We are seeking a skilled application developer to join our young and creative team in Stockholm. To be eligible you should have a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, and have relevant experience of professional application development.You should be self-motivated as a person and skilled at transforming visions into working solutions.Because of our international market, a client oriented attitude and good communication skills in English are key factors to become a successful developer.Any additional language skills, for example in Arabic, Russian, French, or Spanish, are considered merited.Since most of our customers are located outside Sweden, you will have great opportunities to travel and work abroad for a period of time.Skills required: * Expertise in J2EE, with focus on EJB - especially Stateless Session Beans and Message Driven Beans.* Expertise in JBoss architecture, and Hibernate.* General understanding of workflow management concepts.* Previous experience of Design Patterns, especially around J2EE Merited qualifications: * Previous experience of jBPM, or other workflow management systems.* Familiarity and understanding of automated unit testing technologies, such as JUnit.* Interest in audio and video technology Documented professional experience of application development in Java/J2EE is required.Ardendo always practices probationary employment.Interested?Please include your CV, scanned copies of your degree and marks, and the abstract from your thesis, if applicable.
