The world of transport and logistics is electrifying rapidly, and Scania is facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role in the transformation by introducing new tailor-made products, services and sustainable transport solutions. We are now looking for a new engineering manager for our team who is responsible for project management of e-mobility product introductions at our production plant. Our contribution to this shift is to be the leading supplier of electrified components.
You will work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands, challenging your capability of setting priorities and project management skills. You will have a crucial role in how well we will succeed in the introduction of our new products into production. This is a unique possibility to work in a diverse, global and cross-functional context within TRATON where your personal experience and your perspective will contribute to Scania’s success.
Your primary assignments
• Overall responsibility for the introduction of new products for e-mobility. The responsibility runs from idea until the new product is implemented in production.
• Speaking partner for Traton production network regarding product development.
• Coordination of our product introductions within TRATON.
• Lead a group of 15 employees who work as project managers and product technicians. We believe that results are achieved through the development of both employees and the group.
• Overall responsibility for personnel management, work environment, project budget and schedule.
• Develop existing processes and working methods.
You are part of a management team with other experienced production technical group managers.
Your profile
You are an experienced group manager, preferably with good knowledge in project and change management. We see that you have a college or university degree or have work experience from a similar role.
In order to thrive as well as being successful in this role we believe you have a genuine interest in building relationships and pushing for a positive change. We also believe you have a strategical mindset with strong analytic skills and the ability to plan and structure your own and your groups work. You are a natural problem solver who sees opportunities when things don´t go as planned.
When it comes to communication you need to be fluent in English, both in speech and in writing, and comfortable presenting to peers and senior management. Swedish and German is meritorious.
