OM TJÄNSTEN
Carabiner is responsible for the Functional Safety turn-key project for safe vehicle automation solution one of their customers, supporting autonomous drive AD / ADAS platform, longitudinal vehicle control and vehicle motion control. They support with coaching, trainings, reviews and hands-on work on functional safety and tasks related to the development of safe software.

They are now looking to expand the team with one project member with experience within systems engineering who is service minded and has basic knowledge on functional safety.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Functional safety engineer, you will do hands-on work, developing and updating the system safety deliverables such as safety cases, safety plans, safety test plans, functional safety concepts and technical safety concepts for ADAS solutions for the customers legacy programs.

You will be supported by the senior leaders of Carabiner’s functional safety coaching team in your development work, but you have the knowledge to drive your own daily tasks and ability to collect necessary information from several development teams.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
- Detailed knowledge in software and hardware design is meritorious
- Knowledge on functional safety and ISO 26262.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Experience from development of autonomous drive or driver assistance systems is meritorious
- Knowledge of electronics and microprocessor systems / embedded software development is a bonus
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- It is meritous if you have done your Master thesis within the area of Functional Safety

You have a high integrity, excellent communication skills, and are a reliable team player. You are used to be part of development projects and enjoy collaboration with different stakeholders, as well as the freedom and responsibility to act independently.

You have a strong customer focus; you work in a structured way to deliver upon.

The expectation is that within six months you will be able to proceed as a Functional Safety Engineer for some of their customers development teams and have gained enough knowledge to act as the first line of functional safety support for the teams you have been assigned to. The aim is to help you grow into a functional safety specialist.
