Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Scania’s Group Treasury handles the financial exposure of the Scania Group by ensuring that the exposure is within the limits established in the Finance Policy, done in a cost-efficient manner. Treasury also acts as an advisor to subsidiaries and business areas within Scania with respect to Treasury-related topics.

As of now, we at Scania's Groups Treasury are looking to recruit new members to our Front Office Team in Södertälje, Sweden. We are looking for both senior and junior members to our team, and hence welcome applications with all levels of experience. We are looking for people with great communication and people skills, as well as financial awareness and an analytical mindset. You will be part of a great team, always looking to manage Scania's liquidity, refinancing needs and financial risks in an efficient way.

The position
As a Treasury dealer within the Front Office Team, you will support our subsidiaries, and primarily our Captive Finance entities, with e.g., financing, by handling the commercial currency exposure of the group and managing all financial risks arising from that in the financial markets. You will have bank relations and management of the bank group and also be the securer of the financial network of the Group.

Additionally, you will also:


• Look into funding for the group through loans, backup facilities and financial markets.
• Management of the FX and interest rate exposure.
• Work with advising and collaborating with internal stakeholders around financial risk, capital structure, FX exposure, cash forecasting, etc.
• Ad hoc project management within the Treasury and Scania Group.
• Work with the handling of Scania liquidity.

Are we a match?
In order to thrive in this position, we believe you are a team member with great communication skills and people skills. You also have financial awareness, understand business-like principles, and are very skilled in mathematics. You have a profound interest in financial markets and have analytical thinking and work well with complex issues. For this position, we believe you adapt easily to changed circumstances and have a structured way of working with an emphasis on execution. Moreover, we believe that you have/are:


• An academic Master's degree in Engineering or something similar including mathematics or statistics.
• We are looking for both senior and junior members to our team, and hence welcome applications with all levels of experience.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and a system-oriented approach while being open to learning and leveraging new tools.
• The ability to present data in a compelling way.
• Self-motivated with experience in change management and the ability to develop new ways of doing things (improve processes, reporting, etc).
