Are you our new Finance Accountant?

BASF is looking for a structured and proactive Finance Account to be part of our Finance organization. We don't just see numbers, we see solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role you will primary supporting both internal and external business partners with efficient and effective business solutions. You will be the cross-functional link between finance and business, and in close collaboration with our internal stakeholders as Customer Service and Shared Service Centre in Berlin and external stakeholders to ensure for example payments of corporate tax and other fees. You will handle any finance or accounting questions and topics and be a central contact person for the local organization.
You will be responsible for vat reporting to tax authorities for several BASF companies registered for Swedish vat.
You will be responsible for Swedish statutory reporting and annual reports.
You will be for responsible Credit Management, evaluating credit limits for customers and perform credit analyses.
In cooperation with the Finance Manager, you will quarterly perform reconciliation of balance and P/L.

YOUR BACKGROUND
You have a university degree in Finance / Accounting and minimum of 2 years experience from a related role within finance, accounting, controlling or audit or alternatively post-secondary professional education within accounting supported by several years of experience in a similar role. You are familiar with SAP systems and working in an international organization. You are a analytical and independent person with a high service mindset.

Understanding and respecting for rules and regulations
Flexible and open to change and different ways of working
You will need good interpersonal skills with an outstanding communication skills in Swedish and English – both written and verbal
