About us
Welcome to Eskilstuna on the shores of Lake Mälaren, the idyllic medium-sized city with industrial charm and the Eskilstuna River that flows through the city center. Here you will find everything you could want and if something still is missing, Stockholm is only an hour from the city with either a good train connection or car via the E20.
The surgery ward operates at the hospital of Mälarsjukhuset. We provide service to all clinics involved in operating specialist care where quality is the priority - both medically and in terms of nursing. We offer initial schooling and continuous training so that you can feel safe and develop in your profession as scrub nurse.

Your main tasks
Working as a scrub nurse with us means independent work with significant responsibility. Our goal is to ensure a high level of professional knowledge and ability to provide good and safe care. We consider teamwork highly important and take advantage of the wide experience we have in our team. Together with you, we want to create value for our patients.

Your competence
We are looking for you who are a nurse licensed in Sweden or registered in an EU/EES country with specialist training as a scrub nurse. We expect that you who are applying are committed, solution-focused and interested in developing our department together with your colleagues. In the meeting with both patients and colleagues, you have an open, professional, and empathetic approach. Personal suitability for the job is of the greatest importance.

Terms of employment
Before start working with us, you need to reach B2 level in the Swedish language. Your employment will start with and introduction period where you combine Swedish language studies to reach the C1 level, with introduction at the clinic. When you have reached license from the Swedish national Board of Health and Welfare and the introduction period is proved satisfactory, it will automatically turn into a permanent employment.
