We are Vision Core

At our technical center based in Linköping we are developing world class vision systems for several customers worldwide. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software, algorithms and in-vehicle testing.

We offer a workplace where you contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology that aims to enhance road safety through collaborative driving and to facilitate autonomous driving.

We are now in an expansive phase and are starting up a collaboration with Qualcomm. Together we will deliver a full software stack and SoC platform for next generation ADAS, Collaborative and Autonomous Driving. We are looking for Computer Vision Developers who can strengthen our Core organization for ongoing and upcoming collaborative driving projects.

We work in cross functional agile teams consisting of 5-8 members developing functions into our Vision Products. While each team member contributes with their own skills and experience, the team cooperates to perform the different steps in development.

What you'll do?
We work in 3 week sprints during which you could:

- Influence the product and your own work by giving input to the product backlog and by selecting your teams tasks for upcoming sprints

- Interface with our customers

- Lead your own and the teams work forward, by exploring new ideas and experiment for the benefit of the product, the team and yourself

- Develop your and the organizations expertise within a certain technical domain via Communities of Practice, such as Test methodology, Functional Safety or System Architecture to mention a few

- Work in close cooperation with the developers in your team, developing our algorithms, deep neural networks and the framework around it

- Exercise and develop your communication and leadership skills

You will be working together with specialists in variety of technical domains in order to deliver one of our most central system functions, e.g. Vehicle, Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Lane and Road Boundary Detection, and Traffic Sign and Traffic Light Detection.

What you'll bring:
To succeed in this position, we think you have:

- A Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
- Background in software development, preferably in C and Python
- Systems thinking and a mindset to keep a holistic view of the product


We think you have experience in:

- Requirements Engineering
- Developing system and/or SW architecture
- Experience in global standards within Functional Safety or Systems Engineering


As a person you have an interest in developing others, for example through our technical communities and by sharing your expertise. You have communication skills and the interest in carrying information between teams and also to our stakeholders.

We think you are curious and have high motivation and a positive “can do”-attitude.

You are fluent in English and preferably Swedish.
