Are you Scania’s next Supplier Quality Auditor ?

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

At Scania Purchasing we contribute by evaluating suppliers as well as sourcing to the new demands. Now we are looking for a new addition to our team at Supplier Quality.
The question is :

Would you like a job where you meet new people every week? Do you easily create dialogue and communicate to people at all organisational levels? Perhaps you want to contribute to the bigger picture by auditing supplier’s production processes and interpreting information into valuable results back to your organisation?  Well in that case, I have the job for you!

The team

We are today 4 auditors and we are looking for a new team member to be part of our work by practising and developing your skills. You will be replacing a colleague who will retire within a year, so you will get a long introduction to our field of work. Since we all travel a lot, we make sure to have virtual check-in's to keep up the team spirit.

Our team supports the purchasing organisation by performing audits at suppliers in order to facilitate the capability evaluations prior to sourcing decisions. The audit includes assessment of manufacturing processes, project management, product and process development.

Me as a manager

My name is Anu Axelsson and I believe in clarity and openness and that we build our team together. My experience tells me that building teams with diverse competencies strengthens us as individuals and colleagues. As a manager I lead with calm and encourage an environment for taking initiatives and listening to each other.

You

Working in our team means that you will meet diverse cultures and organisations. This requires you to be a highly professional, social and diplomatic person. Your way of working is structured with a systematic approach. You have an interest in sharing knowledge and informally guiding and leading others.

In this role you will be considered as a senior within our Supplier quality organisation. Therefore, work experience from either quality assurance, production engineering or auditing production processes for at least five years is preferable. We think that you have a university degree within engineering.

In order to carry out your daily work, you need to have experience from quality management systems and auditing methods. A driver’s license will make your work life easier, since you will be out travelling most of the working weeks.

Your tasks

You are adding value to the organisation and fulfilment of strategy and goals by

• preparing and planning audits by gathering information from our internal organisation, cross functions and regulations
• conducting audits according to VDA6.3 or Scania specific method
• writing and distributing audit reports
• following up implementation of agreed actions

We offer

The position is located at Scania Purchasing office in Södertälje Sweden. The audits are carried out in Scandinavia and Europe mainly, so international travelling is a big part of your work (post-covid).
You plan your work independently, supported by well-defined methodology and process. You will get a broad network within Scania, TRATON and Volkswagen group, to collaborate and develop way of working with.
At Scania Purchasing you will get engaged colleagues from all over the world and we have different areas and roles to develop within.

We look forward to receiving your application, do not hesitate to apply, let's see if we are a match !
