Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are looking for a highly motivated transformation professional to support us in driving the business transformation to modernize finance globally across functions and ensure that Finance has the capabilities to support present & future business models.

Your role

You will lead the business transformation project initiated at Finance & Business Control targeting finance processes at Industrial Operations (globally) as well as Commercial Operations/Financial Services on Group level processes.

Main triggers and business drivers for the project are:


• Enable touchless, automated and timely availability ​
of financial information​
• Real-time & analytics capabilities ​
• High quality information and standard processes ​
to support business​
• Processes that can support present and future business models

The project aims to implement a complete new business process and IT landscape based on a commodity platform. Our ambition is to increase alignment cross business and drive standardisation and automation. This is a changemaker as the transformation has several perspectives in mind – financial steering, process, technology, data and people.

Your profile

To succeed in this role you have experience from driving financial transformation before either as a management consultant or as a project manager in different change initiatives. You are motivated by complexity and to make it understandable and simplified to your stakeholders. All in all, as the senior professional you are, you know what is it takes to lead a high profile project in an international environment in terms of drive, coordination/anchoring, the different culture approach and communication both with C-level and peers.

Your background may vary, but most importantly you have a great passion for change, finance and the people approach. The next step on your career bucket list is to be one of the most significant players in Scania’s finance transformation. You need to be able to communicate in both English and Swedish.
