As a Powerplant engineer with BRA, you work with airworthiness according to the EASA regulations Part CAMO. Your main task will be to, together with your colleagues, deliver safe, airworthy and reliable aircraft. The position means that you, together with the team, continuously develop our maintenance program and aircraft systems to maintain and develop reliability of BRA fleet, inparticular for the engine types operated by Braathens.
Your tasks are varied and include for instance implementation of airworthiness directives and regulations, analysis and assessment of modifications, reliability improvements, changes to maintenance intervals and procedures. You will be responsible to plan engine shop visits and prepare work scope based on OEM recommendations and requirements. Follow-up cost and KPI´s towards contracted MRO, participate in RFP´s and contract negotiations, have a continuous dialogue with OEM´s and suppliers.
We are looking for you who have:
Education with a degree as an aeronautical engineer or certified flight technician
Good knowledge of EASA regulations Part M/Part CAMO and Part 145
Experience with regulations for repairs and modifications and be familiar with the handling and     use of so-called AD and SB
Experience with Jet & turbo prop engine maintenance & planning
Experience from handling aeronautical maintenance documentation
Good computer skills
Experience with contract negotiation and Supplier follow-up is advantageous
Knowledge of MMIS AMOS is advantageous
Knowledge of Compliance management system is advantageous
Good knowledge of English and Swedish in speech and writing

The position could be based both in Malmö (Sturup airport MMX ) or at Bromma (BMA), Sweden with some traveling in between the two locations.The role will also include traveling where you represent the company as a part of the job.
The position is a permanent full-time position with a 6-month probationary period. Starting date is by agreement.
