Information about the position

Professionals Nord is on behalf of Newton Nordic, looking for a software developer. The position refers to a recruitment which means you will be employed directly by our client company. We manage the recruitment process for Newton Nordic in form of selection, interview and presentation to the client.

You work with the algorithms and methods that form the basis of the control systems. You come in with a new perspective and have a strong drive to develop and maintain the products. You analyze current systems and then apply your theoretical knowledge, and then implement them in program code.

Work tasks/job assignments

As a software developer you work in a structured and methodical way from an idea to a finished product. You work together with your colleagues but at the same time need to be able to be independent in your work. With world-unique products and the whole world as a game plan, there are also opportunities to grow with the company.

• Design, implement and maintain control and sensor related algorithms
• Work with control systems implemented in C and C ++
• Development of internal tools


We are looking for

You have a relevant masters degree or equivalent, and has 2-3 years of experience of similar work. You have worked in the program languages C and C ++. You speak and write fluently in English, and either speak Swedish or have an ambition to learn Swedish.

We believe that your personal qualities are crucial to how well you will thrive in the role. Together with the client, we have selected qualities which are essential for the mission.
You have a strong internal drive and want to develop existing products. You are enthusiastic and friendly and outgoing as a person. You are good at collaborating, as you will be a part of a small, cohesive work team. If you are also well structured and work independently, then this is the job for you.
