Arbetsbeskrivning
Do you want to be a part of building Scania Workshop Suite, SWS, the next-generation workshop tool, used to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and update Scania trucks and busses?
We are now looking for a systems architect with great AWS skills who would like to join us in that journey.
Our services and products are used 24/7 by more than 15.000 technicians in Scania’s global service network to keep the rolling stock of more than 800.000 vehicles up and running all the time.
Your Challenge
Get the best out of AWS when it comes to realizing all user needs of SWS. Helping feature teams to set the best architecture for what they try to achieve. Also be the speaking partner for SWS in all architecture questions, concerns, and challenges we face when building a distributed system in the cloud integrated with many other systems at Scania.
Take us from where we are today to the next level of robustness, security, performance, scalability, and much more.
What we are looking for
You have seen it before and you know what reference architecture to use and adapt to our needs for SWS to excel in performance and by that also our users. You know the best practices and make them work for SWS. Also following all guidelines Scania has for a good cloud citizen. You have well-documented experience in building complex systems in the cloud and consider yourself a senior in the field.
You make sure your perfect Powerpoint slides with boxes and arrows make it into production creating actual value for Scania and our users in the workshop.
You communicate on the right level with your audience making everyone understand what you're proposing.
Management
With me as your manager, you get the x-developer still missing coding but finding equal satisfaction in seeing people grow and to give our user the premium tool they are longing for. I help out by answering the questions what? and why? but I leave the how to you. Three words describe me; pragmatic, transparent and supporting.
I wish to hear from you!
