We have an exciting and results-oriented role within our Cerenovus team as an Area Account Manager covering Sweden and Denmark.
Purpose of the role
YOU as an Area Account Manager will provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians and their staff on the effective use of CNV’s systems and catheter equipment during case procedures within geography of responsibility, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals.
Responsibilities
Product Presentation & Customer Education
Educate customers on all NV products to optimize effective usage by providing technical and clinical information and in-service trainings. Prepare, plan and implement training and product demonstrations in-house
Stay current on company products instructions for use (IFU), best practices and technical troubleshooting, marketing strategies as well as advanced clinical knowledge of the neurovascular field
Customer Care
Responsible for sales target achievement in geography of responsibility
Use consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within the account
Maximize customer case support through accurate planning and scheduling techniques
Develop and grow mutually beneficial customer relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, clinical and hospital administrators
Drive partnership and maintain consistent, open lines of communication across the assigned responsibilities with the local team as well as the support team and other internal and external partners
Maintain existing NV customer contacts and KOL relationships and approach competitor customers with a specific account plan
Responsible for the ensuring supply of required products in Hospitals
In charge of tracking and maintenance of consignment when applicable
Business Planning
Analyze data from company systems. Responsible for analyzing the market in which they work: optimizing territory plans by consistently supervising market information, using data systems to run analysis on accounts/cost & impact decision making in accounts
Contribute & generate marketing activities
Cross business unit teamwork
Prioritize and appropriately respond to requests in a high-stress environment
Maintain composure and problem solving focus during stressful interactions
Compliance Tasks
Maintaining Safe Fleet standards according to Company guidelines
Follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices
Responsible for ensuring personal compliance with all Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Authorities
The Clinical Specialist has been given the authorities corresponding the responsibilities described in this document.

Sales organization
Skills and Competencies
University degree in natural- or engineering science (i.e. medical, chemistry, pharmacy) or similar qualification or experience.
Successful track record in sales
Outstanding social skills with the ability to lead and guide physicians through sophisticated procedures
Ability to initiate and drive projects from development through to implementation and completion
Ability to connect with different level of partners within healthcare institutions
Team and customer oriented approach
Strong analytical skills and comfortable with all data analysis tools
The ability to travel related to this role is required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% overnight locally, sometimes on short notice
Position requires working in a hospital environment setting, attending live patient cases, and wearing protective gear, and willing to work variable hours to meet patient/customers’ needs
Fluent in English, written and spoken + one Nordic language
A valid Driver’s License
Strongly preferred
Experience working with highly complex technical systems and/or operating in a critical patient care setting
Effective and timely communicator with co-workers and all levels of patient care team
Self-starter who performs well with autonomy and can be flexible in a dynamic work environment
