Job Description
We are now looking for Area Lead Engineer – SAP Engineering that will be responsible for leading the SAP ERP platform, the SAP Platform Architecture, SAP product landscape and development strategy for H&M to ensure SAP solutions are leveraging optimized tools and system capabilities, architecture, including Infrastructure & Cloud, Basis and Applications. You will form the next generation SAP landscape by focusing on the business needs and optimization of the overall performance of the platform. You are responsible for maintaining, harmonizing and maximizing the SAP enterprise architecture and have experience in driving transformation initiatives and sustaining top quartile architectural standards by leveraging leading SAP best practices. While an obvious near-term objective will be to own the S/4HANA transformation strategy, you will also be responsible for translating the strategy and target state architecture into projects/programs and their sponsorship. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Coach and lead the team of architects to ensure SAP performance is optimized and maximized
Provide strategic thought leadership on the definition and management of the SAP roadmap
Provide guidance and consultation to projects and operations on appropriate use of the platform and development solutions
Lead the transformation of SAP through the re-engineering of extensive legacy business processes
Deliver a robust and active portfolio of SAP-enabled project initiatives
Work closely with other departments in order to meet performance and scalability expectations for SAP environment
Assess up-and-coming SAP technology, and create ideas and strategies for adoption aligned with H&M BT and Business strategies
Manage the vendor relationship with SAP and stay current and up to date with SAP’s product portfolio Roadmaps (SaaS intense)
Collaborate with project teams to gather specific requirements and translate requirements into design
Develop, implement, and valuate programs, policies and procedures
Ensure business continuity/disaster recovery strategy is embedded SAP design when architecting for new solutions
Continuously assess technology lifecycles
Estimate and measure value realized through SAP platform (consolidated) to determine ROI of SAP platform



Qualifications
15+ years of experience in SAP area, with technical background
5+ Management experience in leading technical teams and collaboration with external service providers
Sound functional understanding of the SAP technical enterprise framework
10+ Experience designing and implementing new SAP platforms including HANA, Fiori, and Mobile solutions for SAP
10+ Experience delivering solutions using both package and custom development solutions
Program management, problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in building large, global portfolio management and tracking functions and solutions
Demonstration strong technical leadership skills and uses sound judgment
Excellent interpersonal skills and capability to manage internal stakeholders (with a multitude of demands) in a direct and empathetic manner
Ability to communicate actionable analytical findings verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way to a non-technical and business audience
