Parts and Services Sales is looking for two new Area Managers.
The Parts and Services business plays a crucial role in the shift towards sustainable transport and will be a foundation for Scania to succeed with the transformation. This is a great opportunity to lead sales to a group of markets within one of the most profitable and important business areas for Scania!
Your task
The scope of this role to manage service & parts sales on factory level in combination with setting strategies for future development and growth of service sales on group level for decided markets. The strategic dimension is crucial and you work actively in supporting the future strategies. Group service sales – including contracted services and the bundling of services included in our offer – is our key instrument for measuring our success rate. You are also responsible for strategies supporting the Business Units in managing solution sales, focused on optimizing the Total Operating Economy for the customer and in this also securing that the right business strategies are anchored in the Business Plan.
Parts & Services Sales has the responsibility of Parts Sales to our Distributors, but also to secure sales of VRS & Accessories as well as connectivity solutions according to plan and market demand. You as an Area Manager set strategies for the individual market using the full palette of services included in our services portfolio. As Area Manager you are responsible for the performance follow up of all business areas within services, as well as securing the right forecasting for the market. A close collaboration with Area Managers in the other Business Areas as well as Product Management is expected as well as crucial to succeed in the role.
Your profile
The person we are looking for is a creative, flexible and dedicated with good leadership skills and a strategic mindset. We expect that you share the perspective that everything is possible – sustainable next level service business is what we as a team continuously strive for. You take responsibility for performance and you understand the business drivers. You have good communication skills and you are driven by continuously improving the business and finding solutions. We expect you to take lead in various discussions and projects.
You have more than 5 years of work experience in a relevant area. An academic degree in business, engineering or equivalent is a merit. Good communication skills and fluency in English is a prerequisite. Additional languages are considered an advantage. Previous experience from service operations and working in international environment is meriting, but not necessary.
