We are looking for an Area Product & Growth Manager, with placement in Gothenburg or Strömstad.

Are you interested in leading the development of our business as well as the development of your Team?

The Area Product & Growth Manager is responsible for establishing, managing, and developing the Product & Growth team within the KGH Business Area Nordic.

You will support and drive the business growth and the Sales Target by maintaining the existing customers and attracting new prioritized accounts. Business renewal, additional sales to existing clients and acquisitions of entirely new business across the full KGH Trade- and Customs Management (TCM) product portfolio, including operational KGH Customs services, KGH Global consulting as well as KGH Digital services, are in the area of your responsibility.

As the Product & Growth Manager you will be a part of the BA Management Team Nordic (MTN), as well as the greater KGH Product & Growth Community Network in which you will interact with other Product & Growth Managers. Your objective is to stimulate cross selling, involving multiple KGH Business Areas and Units as well as other Maersk Customs Services units globally. You have the responsibility to establish an organization that drives and develops the sales support for the Maersk commercial teams in the Nordics too.

On top of this, you have personnel responsibility for your team and will ensure that the right Product & Growth team with the right resources are being established in the Area. Meaning that you will hire, lead, inspire and develop your team members to the best of their capabilities. You are a motivator and enabler to your team. Your sales team is of extreme importance to the KGH Business Area and together your engagement is the key to success!

Today’s manager will continue in another position within our company and we need a skilled substitute for him. We are looking for a driven and result-oriented person, who is in search of a varied and challenging position. You are a natural leader with great communication skills, that is interested in developing our business and engaging our employees.

You have:

- Good theoretical knowledge within international customs brokerage
- Experience in a multi-cultural organisation, building strong relationships and networks both locally and internationally in the organization with stakeholders, peers and other colleagues.
- Experience in consultative selling of advanced solutions to large and complex customers.
- Management experience with the ability to build and develop high performance teams.
- Ability to engage and energize the team towards the goals.
- The ability to communicate clearly and well formulated, both verbally and written
- Business professional in “Scandinavian” and English
- Intellectual, strong organisational and planning skills with which you can translate strategies to plans to result.
- Great negotiation and time management skills
- Analytical focus and a critical mindset.
