Hitachi Energy is seeking an Area Sales Manager. This role offers the opportunity to be part of our diverse sales team which is globally responsible for sales of High Voltage Breakers.
High Voltage Breakers is a business unit within Hitachi Energy located in Ludvika, Sweden. The unit has worldwide responsibility for the development, production, and sale of Hitachi Energy high voltage breakers for both AC and DC power systems. High voltage breakers are essential part of reliable and energy efficient power systems.
Through the years, our circuit breakers have acquired a reputation for high reliability and long life in all climates and in all parts of the world.
Your responsibilities
Increase existing sales by implementing sales strategy
Explore and develop new business opportunities
Promote Hitachi Energy’s products by providing webinars, seminars, presentations to customers
Building strong and effective relationships with Hitachi Energy’s Front-End Sales units and customers
Evaluate market conditions, prepare market plans, sales forecasts, and reports
Analyze customer’s RFQ and tender specifications. For timely submission to customers, prepare offers in coordination with relevant departments. Ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including product selection and configuration, prices, terms & conditions
Maintain Lean and Continuous Improvement culture

Your background
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, energy sector preferably
Fluency in English. Swedish and other languages are an advantage
Good communication and writing skills
Self-motivated and dedicated team player with strong work ethic and result oriented working style
Lifelong Learner
Willingness to travel (up to 40%)
