We are recruiting an Area Sales Manager to join the Sales team at Pirelli, covering most parts of Småland & Östergötland including Öland area. In this role you will work independently towards retailers & car dealerships with close cooperation with the colleagues in the sales team. You will be responsible for sales in your set area and report to the General Sales Manager. You will work from home and will be provided the essential tools to succeed.
Main responsibilities:
Responsible to provide the best service possible towards the customers.
Responsible for sales in the set area and deliver annual business targets for your area
Responsible for the targets to build a sustainable distribution platform, number of customers and others targets set in the direction of Pirelli’s strategies.
Collect and share important market information with the rest of the organization.
Negotiate actively with customers to maintain a sustainable growth and development in the set area.
Solve business issues proactively in connection with the General Sales Manager and your sales colleagues.
Identify and develop the business opportunities.
Have a high presence at customers in balance with the customers’ expectations and demand.
Who are you?
You have a few years of experience of field sales, preferably within the automotive/tire industry. Good understanding for complex sales and a constant strive for a technical knowledge is a requirement. You have an overall analytic knowledge and understanding in selling techniques.
You have a high level of competence in digital tools to use on the go. If you are used to working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and the Office365 package, this is an advantage.
You are fluent in the Swedish language, with good skills in English.
Driving license (B) is a requirement.
To be successful in the role, you need to have good selling skills, and be highly customer orientation. You are structured, analytical, adaptable and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. It is important that you are a good team player with social competence and enjoy networking and building relations both internally and externally. You have a good business and financial understanding and are motivated by a role where you can contribute to the business.
You also need to be open for travelling on a regular basis, including overnights from time to time.
