Assignment Description:
We are recruiting an ART Controller in the Business Finance at Research & Development to be responsible for securing the profitability of our future and existing products and services – controlling Engineering Cost, Material Cost, Service costs and Investments in the Product Streams.
What you'll do:
● Create, develop, and influence your daily work by working closely with both Finance and the Operational side and provide support and analysis on relevant cost types.
● Supporting the ART´s (Departments) with calculations, with system related questions/support, with approval of Cost Estimates and all other kind of financial questions/support.
● Provide financial expertise within the Product Stream and the different ART´s regarding Material Cost and Vendor Tooling as well as compliance to legislation.
● Control and quality assurance and cooperation with Procurement regarding Tool orders.
● Support and cooperate with the Product Stream (PS) Controllers in all kinds of work.
● Perform analysis on relevant data and use the insights to influence and steer decisions which have a financial impact.
● Work together with other teams within Finance in actively contributing to developing, implementing, and improving financial principles, processes, and tools (globally and locally) within given area of responsibility.
● Actively strive to automate all repetitive/rule-based activities and contribute to the improvement and standardization of applicable processes and digitalization.
Who you are:
● Possess University degree within Finance or Industrial Engineering and have obtained strong business acumen and nourished your analytical skills.
● Able to understand, interpret, analyse and communicate financial information clearly and concisely in a contextual and visual manner.
● Good communication and collaborations skills will therefore be something you consider as part of your strengths.
● Experience of finance work within R&D Engineering or other areas and of Product Development processes.
● Good system understanding and efficient data handling. Experience in Power BI.
