Job Description
We are searching for experienced Art Directors to join our team at H&M Studios. The role is crucial in creating and directing the visual content for H&M.com globally, and as an Art Director you will be an important part in securing, driving and developing our visual expression forward together with the Creative team, and ensure our Brand tone of voice in all content.
You will be working with our Lookbook images, i.e. our on-model e–commerce content, and as such you will be responsible for Casting, Hair & Make up Brief and Execution, Final image edit, Cropping and layout, retouch, image order etc. You will be the H&M responsible on set, managing external teams, and you will work in a close creative collaboration with the Lookbook Stylists in regards to elevation in execution.
Qualifications
Your mission will be to secure strong product presentation for hm.com in a fast-paced environment and as such we expect a high level of creative competence, a strong visual eye and the ability to perform with consistency at speed and on an ongoing basis. You have a strong commercial understanding of the fashion industry, and you are up to date with the latest media, art, and culture trends. You are creative, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
You are also highly skilled in branding mechanisms and know how to execute them effectively to ensure that H&M's products are presented in a way that resonates with the target customer.
You will need to have:
Extensive experience as an Art Director (or equivalent) for a comparable fashion brand (3+ years)
Experience from and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
A high level of understanding of branding mechanisms and how to secure a visual outcome accordingly.
A passion for and great understanding of the world of fashion.
An outstanding creative competence & visual eye.
