Arbetsbeskrivning
We believe that bringing people together from different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives makes for a healthy workplace, a more successful business and a better world. We value diversity and encourage everyone to come and soundtrack the world with us.
At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog, with over 35,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.
We are now looking for an Artist Services Lead to join our Artist Services team in Stockholm for twelve months on a temporary cover basis (March 23 - March 23).
Job description
Within Artist Services, we fuel our music partners and their exposure to storytellers with a wide range of professional services, ranging from product management to curatorial programming. Every month, we release hundreds of new songs across all genres. We’re seeking someone to manage and steer our team of five Artist Product Managers, to help them grow in their day-to-day, support their work enablement, as well as ensuring team and department strategies are met.
As an Artist Services Lead, you co-own and contribute to our wider team strategies by providing insights and suggesting additional layers and structures. You will be responsible for a territorially-defined team and will make sure that all music within said territory gets processed, packaged, and released to all our content partners while reaching maximum exposure for our music creators through Epidemic Sound’s unrivalled legion of storytellers and ambassadors.
As an Artist Services Lead, you will:
- Lead a territorially-defined APMs team;
- Act as an ambassador and in line with Epidemic values and leadership behaviors, leading individuals and teams, hiring, performance and salary conversations;
- Curate tracks into bundled single/EP/LP releases (track order, product type, title, cover art, etc) and make sure that products reach all streaming services together with our in-house release coordinator;
- Promote our weekly music output to various services (incl. ES Player) in order to achieve maximum impact for our releases, i.e. generate footprint and exposure for our artist vis-a-vis our storytellers;
- Curate micro-marketing opportunities for a wide range of artists, moods, moments, and genres;
- Inform our music A&R and intake teams of specific needs in order for our artists to succeed and thrive through our storyteller ecosystem;
- Collaborate with your Pod members, Music Marketing, and Graphic Design teams to plan and execute releases and packaging;
- Support our music creators base through a host of custom artist services pulling from the team’s own budget, incl. but not limited to strategic rollout advisory, promotional assets ordering, copywriting, multimedia commissions, and others;
- Contribute to team OKRs to ensure initiatives, processes, and programs are achieved;
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices within the field;
- Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities may be assigned at any time.
This is a temporary fixed-term cover position based in our Stockholm office, and you will be reporting to our Head of Artist Services.
