We are looking for a motivated expert, who will work on novel sterilisation technologies.
In this role you as our new engineer you will work on sophisticated and innovative technologies applied to sterilisation and disinfection of packaging material and filling machines. The position is permanent, and you will be based in Lund.
What you will do
In the role as Aseptic Technologies Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Electron beam technology development
Critical component ownership activities (continuous development of components, analysis of performance, development of dedicated test methods, continuous development of specifications)
Test rig ownership, including test execution and reporting, organisation and schedule of needed maintenance and improvements
Ownership of advanced analytical lab in the field of aseptic technologies, including laser optic diagnostics
Development of UV processing application
Support the identification of issues related to technologies owned and drive their resolution
Who you are
To be successful in the role we believe that you have the ability to innovate while maintaining a particular attention to the quality of the final product and you have a hyper-awareness of the external market. You are a reliable and responsible team player committed to the goals of the team. You need to have an analytical and structured approach to problem solving, you are strongly motivated to learn and able to take initiatives and drive activities independently.
We would like you be a Master degree holder in Engineering (physics, mechanical, electronical) or equivalent. You have worked in a relevant industry for about 2-3 years, and you have experience from rig and laboratories. In your current job or occupation, the control of critical processes plays an important role, and you drive or are a part of continuous improvement. A knowledge of radiation technologies, statistical analysis tools applied to industry and/or programming language will be considered as a plus
You know how to create a verification and validation plan for an equipment and have a good understanding of fundamentals of mechanical, electrical and electronical engineering. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
