We are now looking into strengthening our team with one ASIC algorithm engineer.
The IP Design 3 team (part of Digital ASIC and FPGA in Lund) has the assignment, in cooperation with Kista, to develop and verify Ericsson DPD (Digital Pre Distortion) IP for Digital Radio ASICs.
The work consists of understanding and developing DPD algorithms, defining the implementation architecture, developing and implementing them in RTL, verifying them first on block and then on top level using the latest UVM and formal methodologies. As part of algorithm evaluation and product verification HW Lab test are required, competence in this area is therefore a plus.
Responsibilities & Tasks
As a Developer you will develop & maintain products (units, nodes, networks, systems and solutions), including development activities like requirement analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, PLM support, product documentation. You will also:
Perform Continuous Integration and Requirement Handling
Develop and Test High Quality Products
Perform Trouble Shooting and Customer Support
Apply Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
To be successful in the role you must have
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Knowledge in DPD
Experience in Algorithm and/or System Architecture
Experience in Matlab
Experience in VHDL and/or System Verilog
We do also expect that you are good teammate, self-motivated, solution oriented and ready to be a mentor. You should have a creative mentality and be open to creation and innovation.
