Axis is now looking for ASIC Design Engineers to join our Chip Platforms team within the Research & Development department.  

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
You will work with the next imaging subsystem in the Axis SOCs. The work includes close cooperation with both ASIC Verification Engineers. Algorithm Development Teams and SW Engineers.

Typical tasks as an ASIC Design Engineer in Axis will be:

* Requirement break-down including microarchitecture definition
* High-level modelling
* RTL implementation
* Perform front end implementation tasks such as synthesis and logic equivalence check

In addition to above there will also be opportunities to take a broader responsibility within multimedia technology areas such as for instance video coding.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for highly motivated designers which are willing to take a full responsibility of the design trough the ASIC life-cycle.

You have a master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or similar, good programming skills and a big interest in technology and ASIC design.

Meritable skills include:

* Proven relevant experience within ASIC design
* SystemVerilog
* SystemC
* Verilog/VHDL
* Scripting languages such as Python/Perl
* ASIC Verification
* VMM/OVM/UVM
* TLM

We will consider both recently graduated and experienced candidates.

THE CHIP PLATFORMS TEAM
The ASICs we are designing at the Chip Platforms team are large SOCs with demanding requirements on performance and power. We work with market leading IP:s and technologies. Together with small ASIC geometry and extensive design work we meet the goals of our customers.
