ASIC Verification and Design Engineer

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You have a master's degree in computer science, good programming skills in multiple programming languages such as C, Perl, Python and TCL and experience from object oriented programming work.You have experience from verification work in SystemVerilog, Verilog or VHDL and are interested in developing and implementing new verification methodologies.Some knowledge and experience regarding RTL design is desirable and if you have experience from working with VMM, OVM and/or e-languages this will be considered meriting. OUR CHIP PLATFORM TEAM You will be working in the Chip Platforms team within R&D who is designing digital ASIC:s and FPGA:s for our network video surveillance products.The ASIC:s we design are 5-10 Mgates where the majority is in-house design.We also use commercially available IP:s.The Technologies we are currently designing for are below 90nm.Our design and verification methodology is based on SystemVerilog and VMM.We also design complex FPGA:s for validation and verification purpose and smaller FPGA:s for product specific functions.JOB DESCRIPTION The Chip Platforms team has an effective and well documented ASIC design methodology and you will work within the Verification competence group with verification methodology, test bench infrastructure and test bench design.We do not expect you to be an expert within verification from the beginning but rather becoming one.Within the verification competence group you will support designers within the organization in setting up test benches and running verification.You will also do some RTL design.WHAT AXIS CAN DO FOR YOU You will work with state of the art tools and methodology in a highly skilled and experienced design team with the goal to always try to improve.The environment in Axis is open and supportive and you will have a great chance for development in an organization that values creativity and promotes individual growth.We welcome your application and look forward to the possibility of you joining us!
