Axis is now looking for an ASIC Verification Engineer to join our Chip Platforms team within the Research & Development department.  

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As ASIC verification engineer you will work with the latest verification methodologies and tools to verify digital designs at the block and system level. The work includes close cooperation with both ASIC designers and software engineers.

Typical tasks will include:

* Verification planning
* Development of constrained random test benches using SystemVerilog
* Specification of functional coverage models
* Formal verification using SystemVerilog assertions
* Transaction level modelling using SystemC/TLM-2

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an engineer with a genuine interest in ASIC verification and an exceptional talent for programming. Our test benches are often quite elaborate, so it is important that you are very good at understanding, implementing and maintaining complex software systems.

Both fresh and experienced candidates will be considered. Prior experience of ASIC verification is an advantage but not a requirement.

THE CHIP PLATFORMS TEAM
The ASICs we are designing at the Chip Platforms team are large SOCs with demanding requirements on performance and power. We work with market leading IP:s and technologies. Together with small ASIC geometry and extensive design work we meet the goals of our customers.
