Are you a newly graduated engineer in search of an incredibly exciting opportunity?
ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions offer you a permanent employment as Product Developer Firmware in our newly renovated office in Årsta, Stockholm. You will have an amazing opportunity to start your employment by joining a Graduate program for a period of 18 months. Our Graduate Program will give you a possibility to launch your career in a multinational company, a unique life experience with a 3 months assignment abroad in Europe and last but no least to learn and develop your knowledge in exciting security technologies and digital products.
The Graduate Program will start with the first Networking Event in mid-autumn in Europe where appointed graduate candidates are inducted into the company. Thereafter you will return to our Stockholm office where you will receive a professional mentor who will coach you locally though out the whole program. After half-year into the program then you will undertake a 3 months international assignment abroad in Europe and we will seek your feedback to gauge areas and countries of your interest. After the exciting international assignment, you will return to your home country to continue to perform your work tasks and projects within Product Development Firmware until graduation in February 2024. After the graduation will continue your employment with us as Product Developer Firmware.
What will you do as a Product Developer Firmware?
In this role you will join a team of seven skilled Developers who focuses on developing and maintaining products included in the successful access control system ARX. E.g Card readers, door centrals and electromechanical locks – Products you for sure have encountered and used at some time in your life.
You will be a key player within our team to design and develop the future of electronic access systems. Where the mobile device could be a credential as well as perhaps biometrics, face recognition, AI and positioning.
Joining our team, we promise you a great variation of tasks and fun working days that is constantly evolving.
Improve our products by finding clever solutions to existing problems.
Working hands on with protypes during development
Propose and implement new product designs within the innovation and product development projects.
Participate in quality increasing activities and continuously improve our solutions and ways of working.
Who are we looking for the Graduate Program?
We are looking for a passionate person with a great interest in embedded FW-developing and technology. You are comfortable with taking initiative and not afraid to make mistakes. If you also have a side interest of playing around with HW that is a great plus.
Experience from any electronics industry is highly meritorious.
You need to understand Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
