Assembler to our Master Team for Production and Logistics China!

Scania has decided to install a 3rd industrial hub in China besides the industrial installations in Europe and Latin America. We believe that our investment in China will strengthen the international competitiveness and our ability to be leader in sustainable transport.
We are now looking for our Launch Team in Sweden who will support with the training of our colleagues from China. Our colleagues from China will be trained in Södertälje and Oskarshamn and this requires skilled assemblers who speaks Chinese and English.
Responsibilities
We value your personality and give you the prerequisites to succeed and develop within your role. Your employment will begin with an introduction where you will learn more about Scanias core values and culture, your responsibilities and the ergonomic working environment.
Your responsibilities will be to assemble different parts of a trucks. We assembly engines, front- and rear axles, gearboxes, Cab or chassis. Together with your team, you are collectively responsible to achieve the quality requirements.
Your main task will be to train and support our colleagues from China. They will be our future Team Leaders, managers and trainers in China. You will learn the Scania Way, our methodology for train the trainer and our Scania Leadership Model and you need to transfer these skills to our colleagues who be in Sweden for a period of 3-6 months. You will also have the opportunity to work in China for some periods during our start of production.
As an assembler we expect you to always work actively with improvements. In Scania there is a constant innovation structure where new and efficient solutions are natural in everyday work. Qualifications
Good knowledge in Chinese, written and spoken
Knowledge in Swedish
Knowledge in English,
Coaching, Leading, giving and receiving feedbacks have no secret for you
You operate easily in teamwork and networking
Minimum gymnasieexamen/high school degree, or minimum of one year working experience
Be able to work on a rotating schedule of two shifts
Experience from working within industry or production is a merit.
To succeed in the role it is important to be a team player who puts safety first. You have good communication skills, find it easy to collaborate with other people, like to solve problems and come with recommendations of how to overcome challenges. We welcome all applicants and strive for diversity and Chinese language is a prerequisite due to the assignment.
