• Legal education within asset management
• Knowledge of how to work with public administrations, to optimize land usage in terms of technical and authority aspects of infrastructure, protection, and use of environment, planning and permitting.
• Knowledge of how to assess and mitigate risks in a business environment.
• Leadership/project management skills.
• Experience from working in a global organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead in delivering safe, compliant, sustainable, and innovative property solutions – with Democratic design and life cycle cost on top of our mind. You actively maintain and secure that our properties are kept in relevant shape for the business together with the correct stakeholders. Provide guidance, support, documentation, training, minimum requirements, best practices and alternatives to the global organization. Communicate in English both spoken and written, in an adaptive way to get your message across in a clear and humble way.
Job-specific key tasks and responsibilities
• Deliver support and guidance to clusters and countries related to Asset management topics and tasks.
• Work proactively with divestment, portfolio management, rebuilds, permits management and optimisation of Ingka properties including analyses and identifying opportunities, preparation of the legal scheme of divestment and materials for decision making, in cooperation with countries/clusters.
• Development, monitoring and proactively working with countries to develop and maintain the database for all Ingka properties.
• Responsible for leading and coordinating within assigned key competence area, the delivery of training content learning solutions and tools with the general purpose of developing the overall asset competence in Ingka in cooperation with relevant stakeholders and supporting functions to identify learnings, thereby improving in-house knowledge, and the performance on subsequent projects.
• Create an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
• Within competence area lead the work and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that specifications, standards, manuals etc. relating to Asset management are consistent with other Ingka documentation, correctly reflects current business needs and are implemented in the cluster Real Estate organisations.
• Support cluster organisation with questions related to Asset management, in the context of each cluster organisation having direct responsibility for executing its business within the frameworks developed by Group Real Estate.
