Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Are you curious, want to learn more about Scania´s bus products, and at the same time develop your leadership skills? Then we have an interesting position for you!

Within product engineering where you will work as assignment manager (project leader), we are responsible for the current bus program.

Who we are
The group RBPA consists of 8 assignment managers managing cross-functional teams towards solutions to quality deviations reported by our customers. We handle assignments concerning both the bus chassis and body. Our buses are produced in Poland, China, and Brazil meaning many international contacts. Your responsibilities
To lead the work groups as assignment manager for assignments concerning both bus chassis and body. You will cooperate with field quality, purchasing, design, production, suppliers, and others and it is your responsibility to lead the cross-functional group toward the solution. When needed, actions are also carried out by our customers to update their vehicles, this is then done together with the field quality department.

This role will develop your leadership skills and give you a broad competence and network as well as a good understanding of how our buses are used by the end customers. You will also have the chance to contribute to greater efficiency in our tools and processes through our common improvement work to secure quality and short lead times for our customers.

Your profile
You have an MSc or BSc degree preferably with experience in project management or development work. As we work more and more with our electrified products knowledge in electrics HW/SW is meriting. Good knowledge of English is a demand.

As a person, you are driven and structured, like to lead others, and take the initiative. Your cooperation skills are good at the same time as you like to work independently. You are good at communication and dare to put demands. Furthermore, you are flexible, prestige-less, and attracted by the holistic knowledge given by this role.
