Assistant Business Development

The Business Development Sales team at Maersk Line, Nordic & Baltic Area, is now looking for a Business Development Assistant to handle our customer database, SCV.You will be working in a fast paced environment as a member of a highly energetic team.Job responsibilities Your job as a System Specialist will be to achieve optimal business efficiency and productivity through improved system use and data quality.Furthermore, you will be assisting in problem solving related to the use and/or performance of the system and the related business procedures.Additional Tasks: - Increase and achieve data quality through improved knowledge of systems and business - Communicate procedures and rules for system users - Perform training of SCV system super users and educate colleagues in their day-to-day work - Assist in solving problems with system use or with the related procedures - Seek to improve general awareness about SCV and the necessity for proper data quality and discipline Requirements: - Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Access and Excel - Previous database management is an advantage but not a pre-requisite - Logical mindset - High energy, positive pro active attitude and multi tasking capabilities.- Own Initiative and ability to identify a new approach to problem solving.- Strong commercial and analytical skills with high attention to details and commitment to achieve targets.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English.- Sales/marketing skills preferred In return we will offer you the opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic organization and get insight to a diverse range of responsibilities.
