Job Description
At Monki Buying & Design, we work together in cross functional teams to create vibrant, current collections that inspire our Monki girls to express themselves through personal style. We create the product that is the foundation of Monki’s outstanding customer experience.
In the role as Assistant Buyer your responsibility will be sample handling, order follow-up and order quantification. You will also take part in the product development process, assortment planning and assortment building. Sales follow-up and analysis will be another key area of your job. You will work at our head office in Gothenburg in a tight team of Buyers, Patternmaker and Designer, developing new collections for all our global sales channels.
You work towards set targets and strategies for the department and understand how the concept’s customers are affected by trends and surroundings. In addition, you constantly follow and act on selling and seek new opportunities.
Qualifications
As our next Assistant Buyer you should have a degree in textile or buying. Previous retail or buying experience is a plus. In addition to this you combine a love of fashion and an understanding of retail and trends with a professional attitude. You are driven, structured and has ability to take strategic thinking on board. Our way of working is based on great teamwork. With your friendly, open-minded attitude and big heart, you’ll fit right in.
Additional Information
This is a temporary position for (6) months, and it will be located at our Head Office in Gothenburg, Sweden. Please note that we are an international company, and our internal language is English.
