Job Description
Assisting the Cost Manager on a range of tasks related to the delivery of projects in the High Tech and Manufacturing environment, to include:
Measuring quantities, Estimating and producing cost plans.
Drafting the procurement documentation.
Checking and analysing the tenders.
Dealing with variations and the change control processes.
Conducting cost checks and monthly valuations.
Assisting with feeding into the monthly cost reports.
Liaising with the client, contractors, designers, etc.
Other responsibilities, to include:
Occasional visits to site once the project is underway.
Qualifications
The candidate should have a demonstrable base knowledge of construction preferably in a Swedish environment and have an interest to work in a consulting environment with both local and in international clients. The role will include but not be limited to; cost report support, contract administration, reconciliation of time vs cost analysis, cash flow and change management.
English is a requirement for the role and Swedish will be an advantage.
A qualification in the Built Environment will be advantageous and will suite a recent graduate or candidate with a short period of work experience who is looking to pivot into an international working environment with potential opportunities for career progression this sector and in other sectors
