Assistant Professor in Business Administration One position, full time (100%) Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) serves regional and global needs by educating entrepreneurial leaders and business creators.JIBS shall be recognized as providing innovative leadership in research, education and service to society within entrepreneurship and business renewal.JIBS has about 200 employees and 2200 students, and it is one of four schools within Jönköping University. JIBS is highly ranked in entrepreneurship research and offers a strong research environment, encouraging work over disciplinary boundaries.Over the years, JIBS has succeeded in employing internationally experienced and qualified staff with a passionate interest in their respective areas.The department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Organization and Leadership (ESOL) is searching for an Assistant Professor (?universitetslektor?) in Business Administration. WORKING TASKS / QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for an Assistant Professor in Business Administration who has the ambition and capability to: - develop and conduct theoretically advanced teaching of high practical relevance - design, lead and conduct research projects, - attract external research funding, - publish in international, high-quality journals, - interact with stakeholders outside academia, and - contribute to building the organization by taking on the responsibility for different leadership tasks.Applicants should have completed their PhD degree and possess a demonstrated record of scholarship and teaching in JIBS?profile areas of entrepreneurship and business renewal and the department?s profile areas of entrepreneurship, strategy, organization and/or leadership.Fluency in written and spoken English is compulsory.Applicants should have a track record of mastering different research methods, including quantitative and qualitative methods. Research experience within the empirical contexts of family firms and/or media companies and international experience are desirable.
