Right now, we are looking for a business-minded, curious, and resourceful Assistant to the General Manager of our Sales Area in North Europe – someone who finds a passion in organizing, coordinating, and multitasking in the middle of a global, dynamic and customer-centric environment filled with inspiring and innovative people.
About the job
In this position, you have an important role in our sales area organization, as you are the right-hand to our General Manager. You assist with bookings, approvals, and expenses, managing information material, agendas, minutes, and documentation. When needed, you also support other members of our leadership team. Besides working with the regular range of administration for an assistant, we also want you to add business value by bringing your voice to the table, asking questions, and giving insights. Through an organized and agile partnership, you plan and coordinate our leadership meetings as well as other conferences and gatherings. Moreover, you take the lead in developing the team’s digital ways of working. You have a widely spread network, interacting with many different parts of the Sandvik organization. Additionally, you contribute to finding improvements that lead to smart and modern ways of working.
The location for this position is at our office in Kista, Stockholm. Some travel within the sales area is normally included in your job.
About you
We are looking for someone with high ambitions, excellent service skills, and a professional attitude. You find yourself quite tech-savvy, showing the ability and eagerness to learn new things and explore innovative digital office solutions to adapt. Having broad experience in Office 365, you are also comfortable working and communicating through Teams. Your previous career most likely includes similar administrative roles, and you are a master of structure, coordination, and documentation. In addition, you are used to a global environment and interacting with people from different backgrounds, countries, and cultures, and you communicate and present information fluently in English.
Your personality is what makes us better! With a doer’s mentality, you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, using your coordinating skills to organize and keep structure in your projects. You genuinely thrive in a shifting setting, where you ensure accuracy and take pride in delivering on time. Staying calm under pressure, you can switch gears at a moment’s notice. Although you independently know how to prioritize and solve problems on the go, you are a true team player with a natural gift for networking and communicating – and giving flexible service is at the core of your character!
