Are you ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic and international environment? Stockholm School of Economics is currently seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Assistant to the President.
In this exciting position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the President's office, with a focus on practical tasks such as organizing the office, ordering lunches, and managing the President’s schedule and appointments.
Your Role:
As the Assistant to the President, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless execution of daily operations within the President's office. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Managing the President's schedule and coordinating appointments.
- Serving as the main point of contact for the President's office.
- Facilitating efficient communication flow.
- Making travel arrangements and organizing events.
- Handling expenses and invoices related to office activities.
- Contributing to the overall success of the school by assisting with various tasks as needed.
Your Profile:
We are seeking a service-oriented individual who is a true people person, possessing exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate must demonstrate flexibility, structured approach, and thoroughness in their work. Moreover, they should have the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with a diverse range of individuals, catering to their unique needs and preferences.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Swedish.
- Proficiency in digital tools, including but not limited to Office 365.
- An interest in and quick learner of digital tools, preferably AI.
- Warm and approachable demeanour.
Having a higher education, proficiency in writing and structuring protocols, and an interest in the Swedish business landscape are qualities we see as a plus. Candidates who have demonstrated significant contribution to the advancement of digital tools within their previous roles are highly desirable.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time, permanent position based in Stockholm.
- A 6-month probationary period will be applied.
