Sandvik Venture is a business area within the Sandvik Group aiming to create value through profitable growth of small to mid-sized businesses of particular interest for Sandvik. The product areas comprise Wolfram Bergbau und Hütten, Sandvik Process Systems and Sandvik Hyperion.
Key performance areas
In this role you assist the Venture Management team (except the President) and Head of Strategy with all administrative support. Your primary duties will include:
- Control of a global calendar, bookings and e-mail
- Planning and preparation of meetings including agendas and presentations
- Travel reservations and coordination of travel schedules
- Arranging and planning conferences
- Administration of expenses, invoices, databases and time and attendance approvals
- Researching, creating and updating presentations in PowerPoint
- Word processing, filing and archiving
- Involvement in the work related to the meetings
- Being the link between the team members for coordination matters
Flexible working hours are necessary periodically.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with secretarial education and/or experience from working in a global company as an Executive Assistant. You have previous experience supporting executives in a fast paced, results-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and verbal are a requirement, as well as excellent skills in the Microsoft Office package.
As a person you are highly motivated and driven as well as keen to improve processes and find more effective methods. You bring fresh ideas and a "can do" attitude. In addition you have an eye for detail, have proven multi-tasking abilities and know how to prioritize to ensure that you manage time and resources efficiently. It is important that you are confident, with integrity and accountability, and used to working to deadlines, as well as being an experienced team player who can also work independently.
