For Sandvik Group and the Finance department, we’re now looking for a structured and supportive Assistant to the Vice President of Group Reporting & Consolidation – a true team player who’s eager to organize, coordinate, anticipate needs and take action. What about the job?
You’re the important right-hand for the Vice President of Group Reporting & Consolidation, managing various administrative tasks such as calendars, approvals, documentation, expenses and travel arrangements – and you add business value by bringing your voice to the table, asking questions and giving insights – this also means that you have a role in the management team of the Vice President of Group Reporting & Consolidation, and in turn contribute with your expertise in matters relevant to your acquired knowledge. You support in many different matters such as drafted presentations, conference planning and booking, management meetings as well as lead the work with the insider log and follow up on stakeholders to ensure a correct and compliant log, and furthermore take an active part in the OneStream implementation program. You also assist the Vice President and Head of Group Compliance and the Vice President of Group Business Control with booking meetings and travels as well as support with invoices, time key and approval of IT requests.
Great collaboration and trusting networks are key in this position – even though you work independently toward your stakeholders, you have access to a wide network of assistants to share insights and knowledge with. As an Assistant, you have a widely spread network and you always represent our vision and values when interacting with different parts of the Sandvik organization, as well as with external stakeholders, customers and partners worldwide.
You’re based in our office at World Trade Center in Stockholm.

When it comes to background, you have previous experience from a similar or related role – you may have been working as an assistant or within communications, administration, or sustainability for example. A relevant education is a plus, but more important is that you have an interest and a will to grow within the areas connected to this role. High integrity is essential to us, and you always handle confidential information with care. As we become more and more digital, you also need to be tech-savvy and comfortably support us in the use of smart digital office solutions and new technology. On top of this, you create effective collaborations and communicate fluently in written and verbal English.
