We are now strengthening our team with quality analytics competence and have an exciting opportunity for a talented Associate Director Analytics QA.

As the Associate Director Analytics QA, you will support the AZ Research and Development through participation in compliance reviews and reporting. You will identify and may manage global quality initiatives and improvement programmes aimed at ensuring compliance, continuous improvement and enhancing commitment to quality. You will support operational implementation of QA strategy and compliance objectives and Process Owners in the development of global quality procedures and standards. You will also drive and embed a quality mindset culture with ethics and integrity. You will communicate effectively with compliance colleagues and customers and maintain a robust knowledge of relevant industry compliance information. You will also ensure that your own tasks are performed to current practices and in accordance with company standards and ethics.



Job Responsibilities / Accountabilities

* You will work with QA Process Owners and Veeva Quality Vault (VQV) System Owner to continually improve the quality of data in the VQV system and ensure the reporting of robust quality data
* You will work with VQV System Owner to implement and continually improve Quality data visualisation and analytic tools that enable continuous improvement across AstraZeneca Research and Development
* In collaboration with the Performance Reporting Director, you will provide data for periodic and ad hoc quality and compliance reports, presentations and dashboards for AstraZeneca Research and Development and QA leadership
* In conjunction with Audit Program Leads and QA Process Owners, you will develop methods for data mining, analysis and interpretation that enable robust management reporting
* You will proactively represent QA on and provide expert input to global data networks and initiatives to drive consistency and standardization
* You will actively search for quality related signals and trends in different data platforms across AZ and provide data analytic support for regulatory inspections investigations, assurance reporting etc



Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

* Degree level education in a relevant scientific discipline
* Strong statistical background with experience in practical application of statistics to data streams
* Experience in data analysis and synthesis to turn data into knowledge, identify and interpret trends and patterns in data
* Knowledge of corporate governance, health care regulations, laws and standards
* Excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills
* Strong collaborative, partnering, and interpersonal skills
* Strong ability to work independently
* High ethical standards, trustworthy, operating with absolute discretion

Preferred location: Gothenburg, Sweden or Cambridge, UK or Warsaw, Poland.
