The Arena:
This role will provide operational compliance support across the Research, Development and global late-stage development/medical/commercial global strategic planning groups of AstraZeneca. You will work closely with two of the Senior Compliance Business Partners on the team in supporting the business with compliance advice and strategic direction. You will also provide project management support for team initiatives, communication and training campaigns and assist with individual investigations, monitoring and risk assessment activities. You will collaborate closely with the all members of the Compliance team and the Global Compliance organization in general to effectively implement and sustain the Global Compliance framework within selected business areas. Being capable of providing innovative and flexible business solutions to complex challenges that balance the needs of the business with informed and pragmatic risk management is a critical requirement of the role.
The Role:
Partner with Compliance Directors on the team to provide operational and project management support across all aspects of Compliance including risk management activities.
Represent Compliance in business initiatives.
Establish a network of contacts with the business groups in scope and act as an ambassador for compliance throughout the Gothenburg Science Hub.
Key point of contact for the business to support compliance aspects in day-to-day decision making and operations and work with the team coordinator to evolve content of the available customer tools.
Provide business partner support for compliance related investigations, monitoring and other assurance activities working closely with the Compliance Directors and the Investigations team.
Influence and support the enhancement and simplification of existing (and development of new) business processes to enable the business to more easily meet first line accountabilities in assuring compliance and enable improved second line (i.e., compliance) assurance capabilities.
Work closely with the Global Compliance Enablement & Assurance team to ensure efficient roll-out and tracking of centrally-driven mandatory compliance training requirements; develop and manage training resources for the team.
Support the team in the execution of the Communication Plan through innovative principles-based communication activities, exploration of new communication channels; aligning activities with initiatives from the Enable & Assurance Team in global Compliance.
Other responsibilities as required.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent required, advanced degree preferred. Professional certifications in areas of relevant expertise helpful
Life Science industry (or other relevant) experience; experience with Research, Development, Clinical and Commercial planning business areas and/or compliance strongly preferred
Practical experience advising in applicable risk areas (e.g., bribery & corruption, healthcare fraud, data privacy, regulations around the promotion of bio-pharmaceuticals and scientific exchange, bioethics etc.) and/or on-the-job experience in a compliance/QA role strongly preferred ......................................FOR FULL JOB DESCRIPTION AND TO APPLY, please visit www.astrazeneca.se/karriar.
