Associate Director - High Tech & Manufacturing

Establish and lead High Tech & Manufacturing construction building project management teams and commissions, focused on delivering an excellent service to new and existing clients whilst implementing and adapting where necessary established Turner & Townsend methodologies.
Key accountabilities, to inlclude
Service delivery:
Strategic consulting of the client in the concept phase as well as with regard to the procedure for the successful implementation of the overall concept
Control of adherence to the project objectives, including time, cost and technical and performance targets
Responsibility for the implementation of quality, safety, health and environmental requirements
Control of project management and compliance with defined processes and systems
Consulting on the procurement and provision of necessary resources
Management and promotion of cross-functional project teams
Monitoring and application of performance management methods, including the use of KPIs to control and measure project success
Change management/supplementary management to optimize the project results
Providing advice on project financing (from a technical point of view)
Managing and ensuring a smooth and timely flow of information between the project team and the client through regular meetings and written project documentation
Documentation of the project progress as well as the creation of project-related as well as linguistically and formatting technically correct reports

Management of business unit/profit centre:
Responsibility for achieving the sales, profit and growth targets agreed for the profit centre or business area
Supervision and control of orders processed in the profit centre or business area with regard to adherence to deadlines, quality requirements and cost frameworks
Ensuring that the employees of the profit centre or business area are used to their full capacity and economically
Ensuring that all contractual documents are checked prior to signing as part of the T&T Risk
Securing / controlling of a prompt project settlement
Monthly reporting to the Director
Handling the client feedback process for the profit centre or business area

Business development:
Independent development of new business fields with existing T&T clients
Acquisition of new clients
Recognition and use of cross-selling opportunities
Quotation preparation together with Director
Participation in customer meetings
Ensuring that the case studies of the division and the CV files are always up to date
Development of a marketing strategy for the profit centre or business area
Development of special sector-/service- or customer-specific marketing action plans
Highlighting possibilities for improving the products and the related processes
Actively supporting T&T's cross-sales opportunities

People management:
Mentoring, promotion, motivation and further development of the employees of the profit centre or division
Conducting appraisal interviews together with the director
Execution of personnel planning, which ensures the capacity required to achieve the goals of the profit centre/business area in the short, medium and long term
Initiation of further training measures for the employees of the profit centre/business unit
Coordination of vacation planning for the employees of the profit centre/business unit
Ensuring that the CVs of the profit centre/business area employees are always up to date
Recruiting - conduct initial interviews with applicants together with a colleague
